shadow spot issue

odd shadow effects showing up

Hi all,

This map is near complete but I'm getting an odd shadow effect in teh map Initially i thought it might be the nodraw brushes i used to create the grate effects as they sat inside the other brush but i fixed that.

Anyone recognize this issue?

    Mmh thats rly weird never happend for me, its that runned in hdr and you runned buildcubemaps ?

    Have you tried a different texture on the floor? Is it only the floor the shadows are showing up on?

    Did you run cube maps ? and thats default texture ? or did you edit something ? also check whats above it maybe props give shadow true the brushes idk just try.

    Description: You have used a non-hdr skybox texture, while the compile tools expect a hdr skybox instead.

    Solution: Either make a HDR skybox, change your skybox to a HDR one or ignore this error. See below for a

    Description: One of your textures is scripted to emit detail props (the grass thingies that appear on displacements), but the detail props specified are not defined in the mod's data files.
